The thing with backpacking is that everyone wants to get off the beaten track and go somewhere that no body else they meet on their trip has been so they can fully 'experience' a country, but inevitably everyone just ends up going down the same route and staying at places that don't really represent the country they're visiting at all as they are so full of other people on the same route. Anyways, i decided to take a bus to a town no one goes to. I'm here now and it's crap. There is literally nothing to do as everything is closed on sundays. Lesson learned. Viva commericalism.

Australiaaaa

Left thailand a few days after last updating this. Spent the last couple of days there in Bangkok with Simon and Zoe. Didn't do a great deal, saw a nice temple which is essentially on a man made mountain in the centre of BKK, which had lovely views and also went to a cool park in the south of the city which had an out door muscle man gym and also a giant mass aerobics class which was reet funny. Been here in Australia for about a week now, its okay, not a great deal to do unless you have a car and can drive places (which i dont / cant). Met loads of people who like getting drunk and sunbathing. It's alright for a bit, but i'm a bit bored of the same get up late, bum about in the day, go to a bar in the evening routine that is ever present here. Tomorrow i'm going to go sailing though, excited about that! After that the plan is to make my way down to Brisbane and spend a little while there. I bought a camera lens off the internet which is getting delivered to Brisbane central post office so i have to wait about for that, but fingers crossed ill get it as soon as i arrive and can then move my flight forwards so i get to new zealand a bit faster.

All in all stuff is good, its alot easier travelling here than in asia and loads easier to meet people, which is cool.

Keep in touch.
